Auberge La Liberte is a family business owned by Bouchadour Family in Merzouga village. We are always up for an adventure and would love to be your host and guide and show you the Merzouga desert highlights. We will make sure to give you an unforgettable experience.
BOUCHADOUR FAMILY
My name is Moha and as the Owner of Auberge La Liberte, my ancestors have lived in Erg-Chebbi for centuries. We are proud of our heritage and love to share our culture and traditions. Since Erg-Chebbi and Merzouga village is my home and the desert was my backyard since I was little, I know my way through the desert.
This is the place where I feel most at peace and I would like to share my passion and knowledge about the Merzouga desert. That’s why I started my own business, after working for the family business for years.
Auberge La Liberte exists since 2002 in the Village of Merzouga. The Guesthouse was created by Moha Bouchadour and is managed by him and his two sons, Ismail and M’hammed.

We hope to host you in the desert of Merzouga to make your vacation an unforgettable memory. Come enjoy a desert vacation and tour the dunes of Merzouga on your own.
The guest house is located 600 meters from the center of Merzouga and is built at the foot of Erg Chebbi, a large area of sand dunes that attracts hundreds of people every day. The site is famous for its unique desert view and the many activities available such as camel riding, sandboarding, quad biking, camping and even walking barefoot through the quiet sandhills away from the hustle and bustle of life.
